BAMMA 2012!!

BAMMA is a two-week residential program run by the Center for Integration and Improvement of Journalism to develop journalism skills and careers for high school students. Alumni have gone on to work at the Washington Post, San Jose Mercury News, New America Media, the Huffington Post, the Denver Post and other national newspapers and magazines and broadcast outlets. Applications will be available in February 2012

BAMMA is dedicated to providing youth with opportunities to develop journalism skills that will translate into media careers and more inclusive news coverage.

The Center for Integration and Improvement of Journalism at San Francisco State University has sponsored BAMMA since 1990. Our graduates work in print, radio, television and online journalism.
