BAMMA WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2012 DUE TO LACK OF DORMITORY AVAILABILITY

BAMMA is a two-week residential program run by the Center for Integration and Improvement of Journalism to develop journalism skills and careers for high school students. Alumni have gone on to work at the Washington Post, San Jose Mercury News, New America Media, the Huffington Post, the Denver Post and other national newspapers and magazines and broadcast outlets.

BAMMA is dedicated to providing youth with opportunities to develop journalism skills that will translate into media careers and more inclusive news coverage.

The Center for Integration and Improvement of Journalism at San Francisco State University has sponsored BAMMA since 1990. Our graduates work in print, radio, television and online journalism.
